Wiggin Out 4 Breast Cancer 5k Run/Walk Race Description
On Saturday, October 21st of 2023 the Wigs 4 Purpose 501c3 Non-profit organization will sponsor their Inaugural Annual Wigging Out 4 Breast Cancer 5K Run/Walk. It was created to advocate, support, and raise awareness about breast cancer and how it affects their self-esteem after experiencing alopecia which affects 1 in 8 women. Also, it will help with assisting on hair replacement through wigs or cranial prothesis (medical wigs), hair care assistance, education, and awareness to build self-image, self-development that builds self-esteem.
