Every step you take helps make a difference. Join us, get moving, and help us build a stronger, more caring community—one mile at a time.
Race Course: From Teal Street run to and take a left onto Crest Street. In a block take a left onto Mallard Street. At Jordan Avenue take a right turn onto the sidewalk.
Runners will run on the sidewalk around the Thrift Store taking a left onto the side walk at Shell Simmons. Run on the edge of the parking lots to the Aspen/Aviator hotel parking lot and take a left onto trails that lead back to Teal Street.
Signs and volunteers will be at key turns with support on the corner of Glacier Highway and Shell Simmons. A full lap is 1.05 miles.
The 5K run will do three laps. This is keeping with our theme, of often finding people experiencing homelessness find themselves running in circles not knowing exact directions until someone assists them and they find the help they need, most often with agencies on Teal Street including SVDP.
T-shirts, a light meal, and snacks will be available; as well as tours of the facility for all interested.
A one mile walk option will also be available. The cost for this is by donation. In person, day of registration only, same location and start time. The route will be basically the same as the 5k race, but in the opposite direction.
