VIM Fit Fest 5K Color Run

VIM Fit Fest is a free community wellness fair that kicks off with a 5K Color Run. The race will begin in Flagler Park loop through downtown Stuart and end back at Flagler Park. A color run involves running through stations along the race route where volunteers toss colored powder (corn starch and food coloring) onto the runner’s shirt as they pass by. By the end of the race, the runner has a colorful shirt, and often body, which makes for fun pictures and a celebratory feel to the event. This is a family friendly event, but serious racers may bypass the color stations if desired. Cost is $30 per person until September 30th and $35 after that date. The race is being organized and timed by Mike Melton of MCM Timing and Results.
