ValleyStar Paint the Town 5k Race Description

This event is super fun for all ages and benefits CHILL, a community-wide teen group that promotes healthy lifestyle choices.

Walkers/runners will begin the race as a blank canvas. The race begins and ends at 746 Indian Trail, Martinsville,VA and goes around beautiful Lake Lanier. At points on the course, participants will be showered by volunteer youth and adults with COLOR (different colored cornstarch). By the time you reach the end you will be a masterpiece!

Participants will get an official white Paint the Town 5k t-shirt to wear (while supplies last), but you may want to save the shirt and dress up in costume!

Race day registration begins at 8:00 am. All participants must get a wristband to wear for the race Prior to the race start, participants will enjoy music, dancing and warm-ups beginning at 8:30 and enjoy refreshments and the HUGE COLOR Bomb at the end.

Prizes this year are for Best Dressed Team, Fastest Adult Male and Female and Fastest Youth Male and Female (18 and under).
