Uvas Locos 50 Mile Ultramarathon Race Description



About the event


A 50 mile race from Galt, CA to Isleton, CA and back again. Very flat road race through wine and farm country. It's a nighttime race! Bring your reflective vests and headlamps! 

Qualifications
50 mi - None

Pacers
Pacers are welcome after 35 miles.

Aid Stations

Fully-stocked aid stations every 7 - 10 miles. You can expect fresh fruit, salty snacks, assorted candy, water, and Clif Shot Electrolyte sports drink. If you would like to be sure that you have Clif product, SaltStick capsules, or any other specific item at the event, you should carry it with you. Additionally, it is highly recommended that runners carry at least 20 oz. of water between aid stations. It's in JULY. It will be hot! Expect early evening temperatures to be 90-100 degrees and then it will drop down to around 60 degrees as it gets deeper into the night. 

Race Results
We use state-of-the-art Bibtags by RaceWire to accurately time each runner’s finish time. Results will be published on the website the next day.

Awards
Award medals are given to the 1st female and male finishers overall and top three finishers in each age group. The first 25 registrants that finish will receive a belt buckle to commemorate their accomplishment.​
