There will be an expo following the race that features:
- The Grilled Cheese Truck! (Food available for purchase)
- Refreshments
- Vendors with giveaways and possibly items for sale
- Posted results and award ceremony
T-Shirts
Included with pre-registration. T-shirts will be available for day-of registration only while supplies last (sizes may vary).
Course Description
Enjoy a flat and fast USA Track & Field Certified 5k that starts and ends at the Village of Hope. Run through the Orange County Sherriff’s Department where you can pay your respects to the “Peace Officers’ Memorial”. Pass along the Tustin Marine Base with up-close and personal views of the hangars. Great course for setting a new PR, supporting a special cause, or simply spending some time outdoors with family and friends Thanksgiving morning!

- Stollers welcome (must start with 5k “walkers”)
- Costumes are encouraged!
Parking
Parking will be available on Valencia and Lansdowne and the surrounding parking lots. Signs will help direct you to parking once on Valencia.
Awards
Top 3 overall male and female finishers will receive an award.
Top 3 male and female finishers in each age group category will receive a medal.

The organizers did not plan well for the increase in participants from last year. The lines for the 3 Port-a-Potties were too long. The packet pick up wasn't well done either. It was divided into A-L and M-Z lines which resulted into a long M-Z line at the end. Needed more flexibility. The start was delayed by 10 min which made sense to do. Hope they improve next yr. The race itself was fine and well done. The 2 mi. marker seemed long, but this is a minor quibble.

I have walked (running is unhealthy don't even THINK of it!) in both Turkey Trots put on by the Orange County Rescue Mission, and I had a marvelous experience each time. I can think of no better way to start out a day of thankfulness than doing something that's fun and is good for my body and that helps others less fortunate than I am. Small internet glitch that the race was not happening in 2015.

Enjoy starting Thanksgiving with Turkey Trot!!! Missed the pancakes this year. :( I would rather money from tshirt to go to cause, I didn't wear mine, so would have opted out and given extra $$$ to the Rescue Mission.
