TTH Indoor Challenge LaCrosse Archery Race Description
7-8am - Registration/Check In. No day of registration
8-9am - Competitor meeting.
9-noon - Qualifying rounds
12-3pm - Elimination and Championship Rounds
3-3:30pm - Awards
We will run ahead of schedule if the opportunity arises.
Division: Men and Women
Backpack and sandbag weight will be scaled according to age but only one male and one female division.
Men under 40: Must have a backpack weighing 25lbs.
Men 40 and over: Must have a backpack weighing 20lbs.
Women under 40: Must have a backpack weighing 15lbs.
Women 40 and over : Must have backpack weighing 10lbs.
Competitor must supply their own backpack and these will be weighed before each round
Sandbag weight - Train to Hunt will supply these.
Men under 40: 45lbs
Men 40 and over: 35lbs
Women under 40: 35lbs
Women 40 and over: 25lbs
Box height is 20"
Archery equipment: No magnification or crossbows allowed! Target will be moved half the distance for traditional shooters.
Challenges for the two qualifying rounds:
10 over the box step ups
shoot one arrow at designated target
10 over the box burpees
shoot one arrow at designated target
10 Monkey Dumps w/ sandbag
shoot one arrow at designated target
10 Clapping Earth Downsshoot one arrow at designated target
The challenges for the elimination rounds will be presented before each round but the repetitions for the 1st elimination round will be 10 reps and 15 reps for each round after that.
Scoring for qualifying rounds and first elimination round:
heart = no time penalty
lung = 30 second penalty
body = 60 second penalty
miss = 10 penalty burpees
Scoring for second and beyond elimination rounds
heart = no time penalty
lung = 45 second penalty
body = 90 second penalty
clay pigeon = 20 second bonus
miss = 20 penalty burpees
