TRB RUn to FUnd Race Description
The Three Rivers Batallion is the Army ROTC program based at the University of Pittsburgh but includes students from 13 other universities. Army ROTC is a program that allows students to attend college while training to become an Army Officer simultaneously. They are taught basic military skills and the fundamentals of leadership in various training environments. The skills and lessons learned throughout this program allow them to commission in the United States Army as officers upon graduation.
The University of Pittsburgh Army ROTC program will host a 5k in April 2023. This event is being hosted in order to support the program and fund events such as their annual military ball, transportation to and from military training events, and clothing and supplies for the cadets.
