Third Street Mile
Third Street Mile Race Description
Race, Walk, Jog, or Dance down 3rd Street on New Year’s Eve at 3pm in Tillamook, Oregon.
Inspired by the 5th Ave. Mile in New York City
Distance: 1 Mile, 5,280 feet, 63,360 inches, or 17.6 football fields…take your pick.
When: New Year’s Eve, Saturday Dec 31st at 3pm
Start: At the intersection of Marolf Loop & 3rd St. near Tillamook Bay Community College.
Finish: At the West end of Goodspeed Park. Point to point race.
Parking: We encourage you to park near the finish line at Goodspeed Park and carpool or warmup down to the start line.
Cost: $20/participant. $10/participant if 13 years of age or younger (all ages encouraged).
Supports who: 100% of proceeds go towards the THS Track & Field Program.
Sponsored by: Ultimook Track Club & Tillamook Distance Project.
Awards: Winning Male & Female choose favorite Tillamook Cross Country swag (hoodie, ¼ zip long sleeve performance, or performance t-shirt). Age group winners receive medals.
Bathrooms: Bathrooms will be available at Goodspeed Park near the finish line. There will NOT be a bathroom available at the start. Again, we encourage you to park near the finish line and warmup down to the start or carpool.
