The Wingman Foundation 5K

On Saturday, September 30th, 2023 The Wingman Foundation will hold its 2023 Pensacola Memorial 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run.

This memorial run will be in honor and remembrance of our brave fallen Naval and Marine Corps air warriors.  The run will take place in historic downtown Pensacola, beginning and ending at Seville Quarter, 130 E Government Street. Runners also have a virtual registration option, so you can participate from anywhere.  Please join us on September 30th to run, remember, and honor...and help us to Never Leave a Wingman Behind.

The Wingman Foundation is an all-volunteer supported 501(c)(3) non-profit that was founded by three Active Duty Marine Corps aviators in late 2014. The government’s ability to provide assistance following an aviation mishap is finite and may not encompass all of the needs the family has in the aftermath of such a tragic event.  TWF endeavors to fill that gap and lessen the burden on our Gold Star families and the families of injured aircrew immediately following, and sometimes long after a mishap occurs.

General Run Information:

The Wingman Foundation 2023 Pensacola Memorial run includes a 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run (Kids 12 and under only).  We are pleased to also offer a virtual registration option.                                                                                                                                                                                                                       5k in-person packet pickup will be available the evening before the run from 4pm to 7pm and also the morning of the run at the run location (Seville Quarter).  For day of pickup, please arrive early to ensure you are able to get your packet before runners step off at 7:30 a.m.                                                                                                                                                                                  Southern Timing, LLC will be providing RFID Chip Timing for our event. Results for 5k in-person Registrants will be streamed live as you cross the finish line and all participants will receive an individual results page complete with a custom finisher certificate, pace breakdown & a 20-second clip of you crossing the start & finish line!        

5K In-person Registrant Information:

5k in-person Registrants will receive a memorial run t-shirt and participant medal.  Registrations received after September 7, 2023 may not receive their t-shirt and medal until after the race (by mail).Awards will be given out to the top 3 overall Male & Female runners & the top 3 Male & Female finishers in each age group: 10 & Under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+Registration fees are non-refundableVirtual 5K Information:
