Four French-American locals and wine professionals, passionate about showcasing the best of their community, created the Wine Half Marathon to celebrate the beauty, culture, and flavors of Napa Valley. Inspired by the famous Marathon du Médoc in Bordeaux, France—a festive marathon hosted annually by local châteaux—this event blends athletic challenge with fun, local flair, and world-class wine experiences.

The Route

Runners will journey through iconic vineyards and wineries, greeted by surprises, activities, and hospitality along the way. The course takes participants along dirt paths and secluded vineyard trails, revealing the tranquility and scenic beauty that locals cherish but visitors rarely experience. It’s a half marathon unlike any other—where running, wine, and community come together in perfect harmony.
