The Storybook 5K

Definitely not your average road race, The Storybook 5K and Fun Run provides both a UNIQUE COURSE as well as the opportunity to come up with a great COSTUME!

Dress up as your favorite literary character and run around the fields of Brix & Columns Vineyards. The route will be either gravel roads or grass paths underfoot and will provide some spectacular views. 

Register by OCTOBER 4 in order to guarantee a t-shirt. (Note that a Fun Run registration does not include a race shirt.) Same-day race registrations will be accepted, but they will carry an additional $10 fee.

Packet pick-up
Redeemer Classical School campus

Saturday, October 12
8 – 8:30 a.m.: Registration
8:30 a.m.: Costume Parade
8:45 a.m.: Fun Run
9 a.m.: 5K Race Start
9:45 a.m.: Prize presentation

ENTRY FEES

$30 | Adults ($40 day-of registration)
$20 | Students - including college ($30 day-of registration)
$10 | Adults for Fun Run (no shirt)
Kids under 15 FREE for Fun Run
$10 | Just a t-shirt

AWARDS/PRIZES

• All 5K runners receive a race t-shirt with sign-up when registered by October 4.

• Prizes will be given for the Best Costume in Adult and Children’s categories.

• Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers.

All proceeds from the event will go toward scholarships for Redeemer Classical School students from throughout the Shenandoah Valley.
