The Great Cookie Chase Race Description
Join us at Sunwest Park for The Great Cookie Chase!
Lace up your sneakers and grab your friends for a fun filled race! Walk, jog, or run - the choice is yours! Everyone is welcome and all finishers are rewarded with a tasty cookie treat.
Race day packet pickup will start at 6:45am at the South Pavilion in Sunwest Park the morning of the race.
Race shirts will be included in each participants check in bag. All finishers will receive yummy cookies at the finish line.
Awards will be distributed in the following manner:
Top 3 Male per division
Top 3 Female per division
Top 3 overall finishers for 5-7yr old Fun Run
Sunwest Park does require a parking pass. Parking passes can be purchased for $5 while completing registration, and your pass will be included in your check-in bag. Or, you can purchase your parking pass for $5 on site at a parking kiosk the morning of the race.
The race maps can be found by clicking the "Course map" tab above. The 5K course is one lap around the big lake and then a second lap that includes the small lake. The 2k is 1 lap around the big lake. The Fun Run starts at the South bathroom facility, goes down and around the North bathroom facility and ends at the finish line by the roundabout.
Race registration closes 1/22/2026. Please be aware that your shirt may be sent to you at a later date if you register the week of the race.
