The Church of St. Andrew 5K Steeplechase

WELCOME TO THE CHURCH OF ST. ANDREW

The Church of St. Andrew in Richmondtown was founded in 1708.
It is one of the oldest active Episcopal churches in the United States and indeed the oldest active church on Staten Island. In St. Andrew’s 315-year history, except for this event, there is no record that a foot race has ever been staged on these hallowed grounds. On September 30, 2023, the Episcopal Church of St. Andrew will hold its 2nd annual 3.1-mile run and 1.1-mile walk. By participating, you will be contributing to the various charitable initiatives led by our church, and your involvement will help us continue making a positive impact in the Staten Island community and beyond.
The start/finish area is next to the Church itself and is run over a well-known footpath, competing in the lush landscape of our greenbelt.
Join us on September 30th, connect with fellow participants, meet new friends, and engage in the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere of the Church of St. Andrew....and again become part of history.

Awards:
First place trophies for overall Male / Female and Top 3 in each of the following age groups
(Male / Female): 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Technical T-Shirts are guaranteed to the first 100 pre-registered runners. T-Shirts are guaranteed to the first 50 pre-registered walkers. On race day all shirts are available while supplies last.
Registration and Race Day pickup starts at 8 am.
Start / Finish location: 40 Old Mill Road
Free Race Day parking @ Hemsley Hall, 4 Arthur Kill Road.

Race Day Schedule:
8:00 am - Registration Opens/Pre-registered pick up
9:15 am - Registration Closes!
9:25 am - Runners/Walkers line up
9:30 am sharp - RACE START!!
10:00 am - After race festivities food / drink
10:30 am - Awards ceremony

This is a RAIN or SHINE event
