The Church of St. Andrew 5K Steeplechase

WELCOME TO THE CHURCH OF ST. ANDREW

The Church of St. Andrew in Richmondtown was founded in 1708.
It is one of the oldest active Episcopal churches in the United States and indeed the oldest active church on Staten Island. In St. Andrew’s 316-year history, there has never been a recorded foot race staged on these hallowed grounds until the creation of this event. On Saturday, September 28, 2024, the Episcopal Church of St. Andrew will hold its 3rd annual 3.1-mile run and 1.1-mile walk. By participating, you will be contributing to the various charitable initiatives led by our church, and your involvement will help us continue making a positive impact in the Staten Island community and beyond.
The start/finish area is next to the Church itself and runs over a well-known footpath, traversing the lush landscape of the greenbelt.
Join us on Saturday, September 28th, to connect with fellow participants, meet new friends, and engage in the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere of the Church of St. Andrew....and again become part of our history. 

Awards:
First-place trophies for overall Male / Female and Top 3 in each of the following age groups
(Male / Female): 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Technical T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 100 pre-registered runners. T-shirts guaranteed to the first 50 pre-registered walkers. On race day shirts are available while supplies last.
Registration and Race Day pickup starts at 8 am.

Free Race Day parking @ Hemsley Hall, 4 Arthur Kill Road.

8:00 am - Registration Opens/Pre-registered pick up
9:15 am - Registration Closes!
9:25 am - Runners/Walkers line up / Pre-race Announcements
9:30 am sharp - RACE START!!
10:15 am - After race festivities food/drink
10:45m - Awards ceremony
