Survivor Stomp Race Description

It is with great consideration that we are converting our 5th Annual Survivor Stomp into a virtual race. After reviewing CDC guidelines and our local government recommendations, this decision was made to protect participants, staff members, volunteers and our overall community. Our choice to convert to a virtual race may bring with it many questions, but first we would like to explain why this decision has been made. In unprecedented times like these, the best cure for fear and the unknown is the hope that comes with community. We believe our race continuing in a virtual fashion will allow you to connect with other runners in powerful ways. Our goal is to create something that you can still look forward to and participate in, while adhering to the local government recommendations for social distancing.

Please join us in STOMPING out sexual assault by running the 5k from the comfort of your own home!

Step 1: Register for the Survivor Stomp!

Step 2: Choose your own starting line. This could be a treadmill, your neighborhood, a track, wherever you're comfortable!

Step 3: Run your 5k anytime between April 4, 2020 and April 30, 2020.

Step 4: Upload your results to our FaceBook event page and #DASASstomp2020. (make sure your post is public so we can see it)

Step 5: Receive a T-shirt to celebrate your accomplishment! If you place we will also mail you your medal.

YOU can help survivors of domestic and sexual abuse during Sexual Assault Awareness Month from anywhere around the globe.
