Student Association of Public Health 5k

Join us for a family friendly 5k race hosted by the WVU Student Association of Public Health (SAPH)! There will be games, prizes, snacks, face painting, and a FREE kids fun run to kick off the event. 

All proceeds go to SAPH, an organization that serves the community through various health-promotion programs and activities with emphasis on relationship building, best practices and sustainability.

Event schedule:

8:00 am  Race participant check-in, bib number and t-shirt pick-up, and race day registration

8:45 am  Kids 800 meter Fun Run

9:00 am  5k road race

Bib number and t-shirt pick-up is between 8:00-8:45 am on race day at the start line address. Please note that the starting line area is at the WVU Student Rec Center near the turf fields.

5k Entry Fees:*

Regular entry fee: $25

Student entry fee: $20 with student promo code**

*All 5k entry fees include a t-shirt for those who register before March 24th.

Everyone 12 and older is invited to participate in the Run/Walk. Individuals with wheelchairs and strollers are welcome, hills are involved! No pets allowed in the Run/Walk. The event will take place rain or shine!

*Please note that the start and finish line are near the turf fields next to the WVU student rec center.
