Stow Lake Stampede 5K

Join us in the sixth annual running of the Impala Stampede 5K and Kid's Mile, previously known as the Stow Lake Stampede! The 5K is part of the Pacific Association-USA Track & Field (PA USAT&F) Road Short Course Grand Prix Series. It is held in the beauty of San Francisco's Golden Gate Park on a flat and fast course. The event is open to the entire running community and will include an elite field, prize money, age group prizes, giveaways, and more. The Kid's Mile is for children ages 12 and under. With the help of our generous sponsors and the tireless work of the Impala Racing Team, this will be a race to remember!  #impalastampede

The race is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities, rain or shine. All 5K participants will receive a commemorative gift, however, PAUSATF membership is required for prize money payouts.

The Impala Racing Team is excited to donate a portion of our race proceeds to Back on My Feet, which combats homelessness through the power of running, community support and essential employment and housing resources. Its unique running-based model demonstrates that if you first restore confidence, strength and self-esteem, individuals are better equipped to tackle the road ahead.
