Special Olympics La Northshore 5K Fundraiser in Memory of Stephen Harward

Want to join us in supporting a good cause? We’re raising money for Special Olympics Louisiana to send the Northshore Area Softball Team to the USA Games in Orlando and your contribution will help get them there! Our friends son, Stephen Harward, was a member of this team and we are hosting this fundraiser in his memory. He was so excited to be going to the games with his friends, but we know he will be cheering them on from Heaven!

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for all children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
