The Southern Oregon Young Marines are proud to present the Drug Demand Reduction 5K Walk/Run Dash on Saturday, October 24, 2026. This community event at Lithia & Driveway Fields honors the legacy of DEA Agent Kiki Camarena, who gave his life in the fight against drug trafficking.

Leading the Charge for a Fentanyl-Free America

In support of President Trump’s "Fentanyl Free America" initiative, we are intensifying our efforts to protect our youth from the dangers of synthetic drugs. The Southern Oregon Young Marines are officially partnering with Heroes In The Classroom to deliver this life-saving message across Jackson County.

As Ambassadors of Change, we are dedicated to reaching students at every high school in the county, making a difference one life at a time. Our outreach includes:

• Medford: North Medford High School , South Medford High School , Innovation Academy &  Logos Public Charter School

• Central Point: Crater High School

• Ashland & Talent/Phoenix: Ashland High School & Phoenix High School

• Eagle Point & Rogue River: Eagle Point High School & Rogue River Jr./Sr. High School

• Private Schools: Cascade High School & St. Mary's High School.

• Special Guest Outreach Josephine County High Schools: Grants Pass High School , Hidden Valley High School  & North Valley High School
