Shining a Light on Autism Race Description
Come race for a good cause!
This is a fundraiser organized by the Seminole Arts Council (a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization). The fundraiser is a 4k and 1-mile “fun run”, and it will take place on April 9th, 2022. Since April is “Autism Awareness Month”, we have themed the race the same, and hope that the funds raised can be distributed to our local schools – more specifically, the special education classrooms. We want to partner with educators, parents, and anyone else who shares our goals to help make this successful, and to help us properly allocate the funds to the right place, in the right way.
We have planned to have the race finish in the same location downtown where Seminole Best Buds will be hosting their Second Saturday Event. Their event is also themed for Autism Awareness and will have games, food, shopping music, and fun for the whole family.
