Shamwalk & Run 5K Race Description
Run or Walk through this St. Patrick's Day 5K before the big parade.
Fun will be had by all ages! Events include 5K (walk or run), Most Spirited Contest, 4 Leaf Clover Run, and Pot of Gold!
Race starts at 8am from the corner of W Union St. and N 2nd St. Check in starts at 7:30. St. Bridget's is allowing racers to park in their school lot as well as parking along the street.
Open Division - $35
MVR-III Students age 11-18 - $20
Kids 10 and under run for free! ($20 for stocking cap which is not included with kids 10 and under.)
There will be vendors to visit before and after the race... plus many local places to hang out in the same block.
Dress up in your best St. Patty's Day gear to win the Most Spirited Contest!
All money raised goes to the MVR-III Bridge Foundation and Back to School Backpack Program.
