Poor Execution

This race was very poorly executed. The course selection was not great, as this was a night time race and half of the lights throughout the park were not on or working. You would think for an organized race that this was something that was checked prior to race night so they could find quick accommodations to ensure runners could stay on a lit course. Additionally, the course felt unsafe. There were some random spots where there would be running vehicles with no lights on even as it got later and there weren't any other events taking place at the course. There were no medics able to help. I assisted someone with the last quarter mile of the course because there wasn't medical assistance to get him there and the course was so dark that had I not been near him, there's no telling what the result would've been.
