Salute to Heroes Stair Climb

The Salute to Heroes Stair Climb is a fundraising event for the local firefighters association.The proceeds stay local and will be used to help us, your local firefighters, serve the community through our charities. Members of the public along with firefighters will climb/walk 110 flights to honor the 343 Firefighters who died on 9/11/01 and the average 100 firefighters that die every year in the line of duty. This is not timed, it is a 110 flight (of stairs) course that replicates the climb that the firefighters made in the Twin Towers on 9/11. The first 150 to register will receive a Salute to Heroes commemorative coin and Stair Climb t-shirts will be available for purchase at the event. The event will follow the Prescott Valley Days Parade and is in conjunction with the annual Salute to Heroes event that is happening that day outside of the Prescott Valley Event Center . The Central Arizona Honor Guard supports this event and will be present to climb and facilitate. Walk up registration opens at 10am, the event starts at 11am.
