Saber Chase Community Race

3rd Annual Saber Chase Community Run    

Whether you are a competitive runner or you run/walk for fun – the Saber Chase is for you! The Shakopee Cross Country team is inviting the community, kids, and cross country alumni to join Saturday, August 24th for a 2 mile walk/run and 1 mile Kids Fun Run. Grab your co-workers, family, neighbors and friends to join you in this wonderful community event. Register before August 1st and your name will be entered into a drawing for a gift card. (Alumni please register day of race.)

The Shakopee Boys and Girls Cross Country team will be running prior to the community event.  Come early to cheer them on!

The race will start at Vaughan Stadium, 200 10th Ave. E., Shakopee, MN and the race format is as follows:

Race Day Check In:

7:45 am Community and Kids

(Alumni please register day of race.)

Start Times:

Cross Country Team and Community/Alumni

8:00 am - Shakopee Saber Girls Cross Country Team 

8:02 am - Shakopee Saber Boys Cross Country Team

8:30 am - 2 mile Walk/Run for Community and Alumni 

Kids Fun Run

9:15 am - 6th grade and under girls

9:30 am - 6th grade and under boys

Awards will be given out at the conclusion of the race.  

AWARDS

2 MILE RUN:

The top male and female finisher will receive a gift card.

The top three male and female overall finishers will receive a t-shirt.

1 MILE RUN: 

6th grade - top 3 boys and the top 3 girls will receive t-shirts

5th grade - top 3 boys and the top 3 girls will receive t-shirts 

4th grade and younger - top 3 boys and the top 3 girls will receive t-shirts
