Runners vs. Walkers Zombie 5k Race Description

We are back......

Runners vs Zombies 5k will be an event you will not forget no matter which side you choose.

Runners will be on trails, through a creek, on hard surfaces and more. You will be supplied with a flag football belt with streamers representing your life. Finish with your life and you are a survivor. Lose all your life and you are infected. Run dodge or crawl and avoid having your life taken by the walking dead.

If you are on the Zombie side your dark silhouette, and the sound of your moans will horrify the runners. Grab their life as they run by to grow your ranks. Show up to the event in your Zombie attire and make up. We will have a costume contest for the best Zombies.

This showdown is sure to bring everyone off the couch into the woods in West City Park.

8a.m. Check in
9 a.m. Start the race
Awards for Runners and Costume Contest for Zombies will start at the end of the event.

All participants will get a quality shirt and finishing runners and zombies will get a dog tag.
