Run to the Capitol

Run to the Capitol benefits the Lubbock-Coooper Middle School students who are raising funds for their trip to Washington D.C. and New York City this summer. Head on out to the Lubbock-Cooper Middle School football field on October 24 for a morning of exercise and fun. The run will feature a competitive 5K with awards in many categories that will begin at 9:00 a.m. Then families with less experienced runners will have the opportunity run a shorter 1K distance for fun and fitness. Come with your family and friends - fun for all ages! Event details and schedule: Pre-race packet can be picked up at Lubbock-Cooper Middle School, 16302 Loop 493, Lubbock, TX, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on October 23. Check in and registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. on October 24.
