Run for Your Mom Marathon formerly the Mentoring Marathon Race Description

We would like to thank you for your interest in the 2015 Run For Your Mom Marathon, Relay & 5k for May 9, 2015. If you live in the Tri-Cities, you are aware of the construction on Highway 11E that connects Johnson City to Bristol. This is the course approved by all the cities involved and the course we used for last years inaugural marathon. At the conclusion of the 2014 race, the committee (that includes representatives from all the communities,) agreed to use the same course for the 2015 race. We knew construction would be taking place, although we were told that it would be completed by race time. We are disappointed to say Highway 11E will not be ready for several more months. Due ...
