Run For World Water

The Water for People 5K is back for Spring 2022! We are excited to welcome runners and walkers of all ages to support our mission and enjoy a beautiful morning out on the canal. This year’s 5K and 1-Mile Run/Walk will be held at the beautiful Arizona Falls along the canal. Participants can sign up individually or register an entire team in our corporate challenge.

Run for World Water 5k is hosted by the local Water For People Arizona Committee and supported by AZ Water Association. Water For People is an international non-profit organization devoted to helping people in developing countries improve their quality of life by supporting the development of locally sustainable drinking water and sanitation systems and providing training and tools to these communities to maintain those systems for generations. All proceeds will benefit Water For People.

The race is leashed pet friendly and child friendly, so bring the whole family!

AWARDS AND PRIZES

All Participants Receive:

• Finisher’s Medal
• T-shirt and goodie bags will be provided for all 5K and 1-Mile registrants while supplies last

Participants will have several opportunities to win prizes

Overall Top Male and Female Finisher will receive medal and prize

The top 3 Male and Females in each Age group will receive a medal

Must be present to receive awards and prizes.

RACE DAY INFORMATION AND SCHEDULE

Race Day Registration will be available beginning at 7:00 am at Arizona Falls (race location)

We accept cash or credit card on race day

• The registration cost on race day will be $45 for the 5K and 1 Mile.

PACKET PICK UP

Early packet pick-up will take place at Sole Sports Running Zone in Phoenix, at the Acadia store: 4730 E Indian School Rd, on April 29th from 3 pm to 5:45 pm. All participants will receive a special discount from Sole Sports Running Zone with their early pick-up!

EVENT SCHEDULE

7:00 am -Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup Opens

8:00 am-5K Run/Walk begins

8:15 am-1 Mile Run/Walk begins

8:45 am- Kid’s Lollipop Run is FREE and begins

9:00 AM-Award Ceremony begins
