Run 4 Hunger

Proceeds for the 2017 Run for Hunger 5k will go to support The Church @ War Hill Community Outreach Program. Through the Community Outreach Program, food is distributed twice a month to families in need. The Community Outreach Program also operates the Grocery Garage which sells groceries at a discounted price to help with the cost of feeding the average family.
Registration for the 5K is $25.00. We ask that you also bring non-perishable food items on race day to help feed families and individuals in our community.
The 5k Race will be on the track of Atlanta Motorsports Park. This will be a night time event so expect lots of glow in the dark goodies. The event will begin at 8:30pm.
Kids Fun Run begins at 8:00 for ages 10 and under. Cost is $5.00 or five (5) non-perishable food items for Kids Fun Run.
Participants can pick up their race packet beginning at 6:00pm on race day. There will be pre-race festivities with family activities, food, and vendors. The go karts at AMP will also be running until dark (karts are available for an additional fee). Suitable for various ages and/or skill levels.
Prizes will be awarded to the overall male and female winner along with the top three finishers in each age group. Age groups are:Under 10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+
