Wilmington • Spirits Run for ALS 6.6K – Stop #4

Ready for Stop #4 of the Spirits Run for ALS 6.6K Illinois Series where we join international endurance runner Enric Casacuberta as he begins leg 4 of his journey down historic Route 66 to raise awareness and funds for ALS.

This noncompetitive, community focused 6.6K welcomes all paces — runners, walkers, families, and supporters. Our Wilmington route highlights the city’s iconic Gemini Giant. This symbolic stretch marks another stop on Enric’s 300-mile Illinois journey.

Participants will follow sidewalks, pedestrian paths, and marked crosswalks at all times. No streets will be closed. Volunteers will assist with wayfinding and safety (this is dependent upon.
