Welcome to Stop 2: McCook 6.6K, part of the newly expanded Solidarity Sidekick Down Route 66 series — 18 community‑powered runs following the Illinois stretch of the Mother Road. Every step supports ALS awareness and honors Enric’s courageous solo run down Route 66.

As a “Sidekick,” you’re not just running — you’re standing in solidarity with ALS warriors, families, and Enric’s mission. Each stop highlights a different town, a different story, and the same shared purpose.

This series raises funds and awareness for ALS, honoring those living with the disease and supporting Enric as he runs the entire Route 66 corridor to shine a light on the ALS community. Every registration helps fuel the mission.
