Rice Lake community 1/2 Marathon and 5k race is all about coming together to be active, have fun and support your local community in doing so. You will find this run to be almost completely flat as you twist and turn through the many different areas of rice lake. Great run for first timers, great run for experienced runners to set a PR and a perfect time of the year! The main goal of this run is to bring the community together in another fun and exciting way.

Its always been a goal of Brittany Longhenry from BL Fitness Training to bring a run to the city and let her passion for running, health and fitness loose to share with her home town.

Sunday is the Lords day.

I was excited to see some more run events in Rice Lake, and finally a half marathon. I am disappointed to see it is on a Sunday. I understand not wanting to overlap other Saturday plans. I have seen this happening alot more with sporting events. Sunday has been predominantly the Lords day for meeting to worship since the 1st century church. I love running, but Christ must come first. Please consider switching to Saturday, I would love to do this. Thank you.
