Race to Remember is proud to once again partner up with Fort Vancouver National Trust sponsors of the Veterans Day Parade to Honor our past and present veterans. For more information on the Veterans Day Parade visit. http://fortvan.org/veterans-parade.html

About the Race:
The Race to Remember Veterans Day Race will start with a cannon salute to all of our brave veterans.  The 5K or 11K Route will lead out the annual Veterans Day Parade at the Fort Vancouver and head over the land bridge for an out and back course on the Columbia River trail. Choose a 5k or 11K distance. The Little Hero 1K run will be perfect chance to get the kids out and salute our Veterans.  After the run enjoy the annual Veterans Day Parade –

About Race to Remember
Race to Remember is a non-profit organizations formed to honor our past and present military heroes. Our main mission is to NEVER FORGET their sacrifice and with every race or event we participate in we honor all those that have so bravely fought for our freedom. Outside of racing we organize military care packages, “Thank you Cards”, “Books for Soldiers” and help coordinate “soldiers in the classrooms”.  Our ultimate goal is to develop a college scholarship for those that have lost a parent during their military service.”

Saturday / 11.11.17 – EVENT DATE/RACE

  • 8:30 am – Packet Pickup and Registration Opens
    at Start line next to Fort Vancouver Visitors Center.
  • 10:00 am - Half Marathon 
  • 11:00 am – 5K & 10K Race Starts (leading out the Parade)
  • 11:05am – Veterans Day Parade
  • 11:25 am – First Finisher
  • 12:30 – Little Hero 1K
  • 1:00 pm – Awards Ceremony
