Veterans 5K Run Walk & Roll

Event Description

Spectrum Gymnastics Inc. (501(c)3) is hosting its first Veterans 5k Fun Run Walk & Roll.  Whether you are a walker, jogger, or competitive runner, this is a great family event for you!

Proceeds from the 2017 event benefit both the Wounded Warriors Project and Rainbow Gymnastic's competitive team, the Rainbow Riders.  Wounded Warrior Project will receive $5 for each entry.

Event details and schedule

The race is run on the streets of Waynesboro, beginning and ending in Memorial Park.  The race will be patrolled by course marshals for safety.  Participants will receive water along the course and post-race refreshments. Medals will be awarded to the top finisher in each category:

5K Run: (male/female) 8 and under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65-69, over 70.

Strollers are welcome.

7:00am - Packet Pickup / Same Day Registration (Tennis Court @ Memorial Park) 

7:00am - Bag Drop Off (Tennis Court @ Memorial Park)

8:00am - Race Starts

9:30am - Awards (Memorial Park Field)

Race will take place rain or shine!

Race pre-registration and Packet Pickup available the day before, Friday November 3rd, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Brio Coffeehouse, 2 E. Main St., Waynesboro, PA 17268.
