The Red Black & Blue Race for Ian

This is the 11 year anniversary for this race.

This event funds for Tennessee Hemophilia and Bleeding Disorders Foundation. Ian Bates is a severe hemophiliac. This means he has a Factor 8 clotting agent problem. He takes port injections of Factor 8 to help with joint bleeds, bruising and ever day life happenings. He will be turning 11 years old 7/27/18 and to date he has received around 2,200 injections to help with this disorder. However, due to the low percentage of people this disorder affects, research funds are small compared to other mainstream disorders. So every bit helps! Thank you in advance for your support.

Large trophies are given for the overall winners. Plus medals for the top 3 in age groups (5 year increments). We also usually have 30-50 gift give-a-ways through drawings. All you have to do is be registered. You do not even have to run or be there to be qualified. Prizes of the past have been: overnight stay at the Carnegie Hotel, Massages, games, running attire, running headphones, movie tickets, gift cards (Walmart, Target, Best Buy, local food establishments) clothing, free workout memberships and cosmetics just to mention a few.
