The Greensboro Marathon Race Description

In the Greensboro Marathon's third year we will keep the course that challenged so many great runners in 2014. This beautiful course will roll through the cityscape of Greensboro and also highlight the gorgeous countryside, resplendent with fall colors. You will see everything along this course - the big city, 2 of Greensboro’s lovely lakes, flats, hills, maybe even a few cows. It has anything and everything you could want! This one loop course is guaranteed to keep you interested and entertained for all 26.2 miles! Just like in 2014, plan on a lot of groups out on the course cheering you along. Barring any major construction issues this will be the course and date for the next 5 years. Come challenge yourself and see how much you can improve year to year. The Greensboro Marathon will be a Boston Marathon qualifying event.
