StrongWill Race Description

StrongWILL is a 501c3 organization that raises money for our LOCAL COMMUNITY to aid with substance abuse awareness, recovery, and support. For the first time, StrongWILL has this 1 mile fun run / walk event to raise funds to be utilized via scholarship. The number of scholarships and the amount in each scholarship will depend on the proceeds from this event. We will be utilizing the captivating 10ft wide Suffolk Seaboard Coastal Trail. Light refreshments will be provided and every child will be awarded a prize! $10 of every $15 will go directly towards the scholarship account. Race begins at 9:30am Saturday. Afterwards, stay for Driver's family friendly Touch a Truck Day! Parking and additional information will be provided in your registration email.

How awesome

As a mom of not one but three recovering addicts, I am ecstatic to be a part of this monumental event. I am a firm believer of speaking about this and making EVERYONE aware of this epidemic that knows no boundaries!!!

I could tell a lot of work went into this event and there was such a great turn out especially for it's first year. Prior to the event I had a question and my e-mail/message was answered quickly.

Second verse...

My wife and I were only volunteers last year, but seeing the crowd and the outpouring of support was inspiring to say the least. This year we will be actively walking and supporting the cause even more.

Amazing experience!

Great job April and all volunteers and participants! The trail is beautiful, the surrounding fair taking place for Driver Days was great, but the outpouring of love from all present was truly amazing! Hope to be there for years to come!

Driver Days 5K

Great event last year right after the trail opened. It was a fun run, organized by a local NR high school student. Glad to see it's supporting a worthy cause again.
