Priest River's 39th Annual Timber Days

RUN FOR THE BERRIES - FUN RUN

Please Join us for a 1 Mile, 5K, or 5 mile Run or Walk Along the Beautiful PendOreille River and treat yourself to a HUCKLEBERRY PANCAKE BREAKFAST after the race!

Start at 49 Washington Ave, Priest River, ID   South Side of Priest .River Community Church

SATURDAY, JULY 28th, 2018 - 8:00 am

 The fun run is the kick off of the annual Timber Days Celebration. After the race enjoy a huckleberry pancake feast and then go check out the local vendors in the park. There will be a parade shortly after the race awards ceremony. Stick around after the race for all the fun and festivities. Starting at the Priest River Park, the 1 mile Family Race goes out to the Merritt Bridge and then back; while the 5k (3.1 miles), and 8k ( 5 miles) brings you across the Merritt Bridge in Priest River, and onto the scenic Riverview Road and then back to the Park in down town Priest River, Idaho. There will be water stops at the 1 & 2 mile markers. You will pass the same water stops at mile 3 & 4 on the way back. Times will be posted at the finish line and available at the awards ceremony held at 10:00 am at the gazebo in the Priest River City Park. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in all age categories for both 1 mile, 5k, and 5 mile races. There will also be a 5K team option available at check-in on race day. The top team of each category will be awarded. Tee shirts will be available at the start line for all runners who registered early. Proceeds from the fun run go to the PRLHS Cross Country Teams. Come have breakfast in the park and help our PRLHS Booster Club raise funds for our Sports Programs. Stay in the park after the race and enjoy the Timber Days Festival, Parade, and Family Dance. Start Times:

Registration - 7 am to 7:45 am

5 Mile, 5K, 1 Mile Family Races Start Time - 8:00 am

Awards at the Gazebo in the Priest River Park up the road from the race - 10:00 am

Top 3 of each age group will be awarded with a medal:

Age Groups - 0-8,     9-13,     14-18,      19-29,      30-39,      40-49      50-59,      60-69,      70-74      75+

5k Team Option - Get your teams of 5 together and sign-up at the 7 am check-in on race day.  - Top Men's, Women's, & Co-ed teams will be awarded. (Race Registration Required)

DECLARATION:  In consideration of acceptance of this entry and intending to be legally bound, I hereby for myself, heirs, executors and Administrators wave, release and discharge any and all rights and claims to damage which I may have or which may hereafter accrue to me against the Associates of  the Priest River Lamanna High School Cross Country Team, West Bonner County School District, Priest River Timber Days Committee, City of Priest River, Priest River Chamber  of  Commerce, Race officials, volunteers, Bonner Co. Sheriffs Dept. any and all sponsors including their agents, employees,  assigns, or anyone arising out of or in the course of  my participation in this event. This release and waiver extends to all claims of every kind or nature whatsoever foreseen or unforeseen, known or unknown.

The undersigned further grants full permission to Priest River Timber Days Committee and/or agents authorized by them to use any photographs, video tapes, motion pictures, recordings or other record of this event for any purpose. Applications for minors will be accepted  only  with  a  parent's signature.
