Kicked my Butt

At first didn't know what to expect but, looked like a small town race but I can say who ever laid this out, was on ball, great mix of elevation changes and scenery and even the weather played a part with some gusty winds,. So what my expectations where based on some peoples negativity, is Folks this is not an easy course, and for a first time event they did a great job!

First time marathon runner

I loved the course .. there were beautiful areas of Tonawanda and North Tonawanda that I have never seen. I hope that the race continues because I am looking forward to it next year. I know that there was some things that didn't run smoothly .. they can be fixed ..and next years race will be better. I am sure that some of this years participants can give some positive ideas and every year it can get better and better.
