Dr. James H. Crowdis Run Race Description

The Dr. James H. Crowdis Heart Run features a 5K and 10K race on a fast, flat course. Medals are presented to all finishers in both events.

Awards will be given to overall winners in open, masters, grand masters, and senior grand masters categories. Awards to the top 3 in M/F age groups: (5K) 0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20- 24, 25- 29, 30- 34, 35-39, 40-44. 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79, 80 & over and (10K) 0-13, 14-19, 20-29. 30-39, 40-49, 50-59,60-69, 70 & over plus top 6 M/F walkers in 5K race and top 3 in 10K.

Adult entry fee is $25 until 5 pm on Thursday, February 6, 2025. Race day adult registration will be $30.

Entry fee for 18 & under is $15 until 5 pm on February 6, 2025. Race day registration for 18 & under will be $20.

Both the 5K and 10K races will begin at 9:30am EST at the First Methodist Church, 397 College Street, Blakely. The awards will be presented inside the church social hall at 10:45am EST or immediately after the final competitor has finished.

If you are looking for an amazing race, well organized and a ton of fun, this is the one for you. I went three years while I was stationed at Fort Rucker and really miss it now.
