April Fools Day 5k and Fun Run Race Description
Phi Sigma Sigma and Phi Delta Theta at Shippensburg University are holding a 5k to support their local philanthropies: the Shippensburg Area School District Foundation and Suicide Awareness/ Suicide Prevention. Registration will open at 8:30, with the 1 mile Fun Run starting at 10 and the 5k starting at 10:30. The 1 mile course has not been determined yet. The 5k course will take you through and around the Shippensburg University Campus. There will be water stations along the course as well as students making sure you do not get lost! The race will be timed by bib number with results being posted here after the event. There will be a silent auction at the Student Rec Pavilion, as well as a place to donate school supplies and money for the causes.
Wear crazy colors to celebrate April Fool's Day!
The courses are friendly for both strollers and dogs, and both are encouraged and welcomed.
