Alex's Million Mile Run Race Description
Alexandra Scott was a girl who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma at age 1. at age 4 she told her mom she's wanted to form a lemonade stand and give the money to help kids with cancer like her. She raised $2,000 and held a lemonade stand every year up until 2004 when she sadly passed away from her disease. She raised over a million dollars in her lifetime and her parents decided to start a foundation called Alex's lemonade. That is what Alex's million mile run is based off of and all money raised will go to research for a cure.
