ACHI WSWA Run/Walk for the Girls

On July 16, 2016 ACHI Women Supporting Women Association will be hosting the first annual 5k Charity run! This is a run/walk to raise awareness and show our support for young girls dealing with issues of low self esteem and poor body image. This will be an exciting time as we discuss how to overcome these issues and then we will run/walk to signify a new beginning! This is a great opportunity for men and women of all ages to address the social issues involving our youth, especially our young girls.
Everyone is a winner on this day but the first in each age group to cross the finish line will recieve award medals and all participants will take home goodie bags. If you have never been to a charity race just know that everyone is encouraged to where brightly colored costumes and really have fun with the day!
The proceeds from this event will be used to fund the launch of ACHI WSWA mentorship program which aims to help young ladies over come low self-esteem and poor body image issues.
