Race Description

This event will benefit local and homeless veterans in the Joint Base Lewis McChord surrounding communities.  The date of this event is Feb 11, 2017 at Fort Steilacoom Park, 9am, The event is a trail run and walk and all the routes are single and double track within the park and no traffic.  This routes will traverse through old growth sector, views of mt rainier to the east trails, views of the south puget sound to the southwest corner of the park.  Participant(s) can expect some very challenging "Die Hard" Hills to challenge your trail running or walking abilities, experience and endurance.  The event is FREE FOR YOUTH AGES 16 AND UNDER.  AGES 17 THRU 99 IS $40 PREREGISTERED AND $45 ON RACE DAY.  There will be a massive Brown and Haley Almond Roca awards ceremony, goodie bags, random mystery prizes donated by the club partners and sponsors.  The location for physical race registration is All American Professional Sewing Services, at 11104 Gravelly Lake Drive SW, #2, Lakewood, WA 98499, contact number is 253.983.0100.  The Club hotline and Race Director's number is 253.376.5737.  Participants can all request a physical paper race form via email to humansports2001@yahoo.com.  Again, this events benefits local disabled and homeless veterans.  My name is Coach Tony The Tiger Quinn and Race Director, on behalf of the Washington State Trail Running and Walking Club we in advance thank you for participating and support our local and community hero's.
