5K Run-Mania

The 5K RunMania is a Walk/Run event that will begin in Hart Park, Orange, CA. Our route will follow the Santiago Creek Trail & Bike Path. It will be an out and back course. We will have support and plenty of encouragement along the way. Children are also welcome to participate.

Race begins at 8:30am on Saturday, June 4th, but please plan to show up at 8:00am for sign-in. Free parking is available in the Santiago Creek bed off Glassel St. Food & refreshments will be provided after all runners/walkers finish the race.

The Cause:
On June 30-July 13, a team of volunteers will be headed to Romania to build a home for the Caminul Felix Orphanage. This home will provide to a grown child who grew up in the Caminul Felix Orphanage with an affordable home where they can begin their new life and journey.

Caminul Felix Orphanage is 100% donation funded and relies on volunteers like us to build the homes and facilities they need to keep their community functioning. All proceeds will be going toward the cost of building homes for the orphanage.

Interested Runners:
WE ARE ASKING FOR EACH RUNNER TO RAISE $300 TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 5K. To sign up for the race, select the "5K Participant" donation level on the upper left.

The next step is to invite friends, family and coworkers to donate on your behalf. When they go to make a donation, make sure they add a comment about who they are sponsoring when they checkout! We will be posting fundraising results weekly. Let the competition begin!
