DATE: Saturday, April 18, 2014 LOCATION: Mike Lewis Park, 2410 N Carrier Pkwy, Grand Prairie, TX 75050 Race promotes the message that nursing homes should maximize resident autonomy, function, dignity and comfort. Net proceeds will partially benefit Blessed Redeemer Nursing Home Ministry – trying to effect these goals – as well as general nursing home care advocacy. *** 5K @ 8:30 AM; 1M @ 9:30 AM. *** Visible & legible Distance markers @ Miles 1, 2, 3! Offers lowest race entry fees in North Texas! Gender/age-group awards in essentially 5-year brackets from 6 & Under to 85 & Over. Course Map: http://www.usatf.org/routes/view.asp?rID=432911 A little incline in Mile 1 of the 5K – for character. Fast and flat after that.
