Following our successful races on Super Bowl Sunday weekend Friday, Feb 1 and June 2nd where we donated proceeds from the races to Back On My Feet, we are again organizing to give hope to others through a Friday morning 5K Run.  Atlanta Council District 6 Councilwoman is co-sponsoring the walk to advance awareness and provide proceeds to local initiatives focused on the prevention of homelessness.  Nestled and completely contained in Piedmont Park, this electronically chip timed USATF-certified AJC Peachtree Qualifying 5K  Run/Walk is being held to experience fun with friends, family, locals and tourists for great causes!

Packet Pickup

Big Peach - Midtown, 800 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30308 will host our final packet pickup on August 29th from 12PM - 7PM.

 Please note Race Day pickup for runners will commence at 6AM for all runners/walkers.

Virtual Runner

Will you be out of town or have to be to work super early on Friday? 
No Problem!  You can join in the fun and run/walk for the same purpose too,

1. Register at atlanta.purposerun.com as a virtual runner.
2. Run/walk 5K between TODAY and next Sunday, September 1.
3. Provide proof to the race director at freeme@purposerun.com with picture from Garmin or Polar or similar watch or treadmill with a picture of you, mileage and time - set your watches or treadmills to show kilometers.
4. Pick up your medals at Road Runner Sports (Buckhead) after Friday's race.

Parking

Street parking is available on 10th Street and Charles Allen right across the street from the Charles Allen Drive gate entrance.  

Uber/Drop-offs

Have your Uber driver plug in the address 10th St NE, Atlanta, GA 30306 for the Charles Allen Gate restroom. (all jokes aside)  This will take you right to the start/finish.
