Paws for a Cause Sarah's 5K and Fun Run Race Description
Sarah’s 5K was inspired by Dr. Gasiecki’s and Mrs. Jennifer’s dog Sarah, who was found taped inside a Sarah Lee box next to a dumpster when she was a puppy. Paws for a Cause: Sarah’s 5K raised over $1800 for the shelter last year. It is our hope that this event will not only raise money to help provide for the sheltered pets, but also help some of Sarah’s friends find a forever home.
This race will be open to everyone, and we also welcome runners to bring their dogs to run/walk with Sarah.
The 5K/Fun Run will begin at 9:00AM with Registration beginning at 8:00AM. The Metter Animal Shelter for pet adoptions during this event. We will also be collecting pet food and blankets for the shelter.

Well organized and fun event! The course is surprisingly hilly but fast. Plenty of volunteers and great raffle prizes at the end. The only suggestion I have is to add some more divisions. I am 65 and I was lumped in with the lower division.
