Paul Poulson Turkey Trot Race Description

The 3rd Annual Paul Poulson Turkey Trot is a 5k run/walk event presented by Track Your Tension Foundation which seeks to raise awareness of the risks of living with undetected or unmanaged hypertension. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, this year's event will be a "virtual" run/walk for anyone wanting to participate. Participants are free to complete a 5k run/walk at a location and time of their choosing during the week of Thanksgiving. Please post and/or send us your photos and/or results. We will be looking for people who send in photos and stories that merit the three character awards, so don't be shy! We will celebrate Thanksgiving Day and the 50th birthday of Paul Poulson who was taken from life far too early by stroke in October 2018.

Inspiring

Last year I woke up on Thanksgiving morning and felt inspired to go! It was an amazing event filled with great people and lots of hope and encouragement!! You could just feel the love all around you!! I loved every minute of it!!! The Poulson family is amazing and we love them so much!! I knew Paul, but not as well as I’d like. Last year I learned amazing, wonderful, inspiring things that he did for so many people throughout his life!! Paul is truly an inspiration to all!! The Poulson family works so hard and does so much, I am so grateful to know them!! I hope this year is even more amazing, but last year will be hard to top!!
