Given the circumstances at this time we are asking that all participants wear protective masks and abide by proper distancing when not racing. All activities, including race-day registration and packet pick-up, will occur outdoors or under an open pavilion. Race day registration will be available starting at 7:30am.
The finish line will be "no touch" and your bib number will be manually recorded at the finish (no chip timing). So we please ask that you visibly wear your bib number in the front of your outfit and be sure it has been recorded as you exit the finish line chute.
To assist with abiding by social distancing best practices the race will be divided into 3 waves. At 8:30am runners who can run a sub-30 minute 5K will start. At 8:35am runners who run a 5K time of 30 minutes or greater will start. At 8:40am the 2 Mile walkers will begin. Please be sure to start in the proper wave, you bib numbers will be marked appropriately to signify your starting wave.
Awards, random prizes, and t-shirts are not guaranteed at this time. As we approach race day and have a better understanding of participation levels and sponsorship availability we will update race information appropriately. Entry fees are non-refundable and in the event that circumstances beyond our control determine the event must be canceled, the Oakl and/Mt. Lake Park Lions Club thanks you for your support.
